to the top of stanton

bowling alley

Before Jake left for Argentina he gave me his mom's old Canon A-1. It was the first camera built with auto-exposing aperture and shutter priority modes. Yet it does not have an internal light meter for manual settings which is weird. That being said it is otherwise pretty awesome, so thanks again Jake. The next few photos were all shot with that.

the varga's dog

In all my years of dog-walking professionally I was only bitten two times. A few years ago this one got me while I was off-duty. Still fierce as ever.

nate, isaac, and matt

Had some film developed.

Ankle update: Physical therapy is going well but I'm still in the boot and gotta go easy for a while. I see the doctor again later this week. Hoping to at least get the okay to do a little bit of bootless walking around so I can shoot some more.

Dave at Imperial

Ran into a Philly friend at a Pittsburgh park yesterday. We shot a lot of photos of "better" tricks. This was actually just a quick snap of a setup trick before he tried something else. But there is something about a slash grind lit with nothing but the setting sun that just rubs me the right way.

Dan Hetrich - Backside Disaster

Posted this on Haveboard already, but seeing as I've been slacking on this end, I figured I'd throw it up here as well.
