Utah

Around Super Bowl time Zerbe and I were in Utah. Everyone there was super nice. We hiked a bunch and played football and Marcy made awesome enchiladas.

Politickin'

Last night Mayor Street showed up at the Northern Liberties Neighbors Association's monthly meeting to announce his support in turning a city-owned lot over to NLNA. They plan to build a meeting space and offices there.

New Orleans

Last month my friend Dan and I went on a three week journey out west. But first, we went south to New Orleans. All of these photos were taken over a four day stay in late January 2006. Thanks to Kate, Eldin, Coog, and Megan for letting us stay with them.

Red Hat Ladies

This afternoon I went on a tour of the Yard's Brewery in Kensington with the Fishtown Red Hat Ladies. From what I gather, their club basically consists of them wearing gaudy clothes, eating sweets, and giggling. After I would take their picture they kept saying "Oh my that was fun."

Creeping Weeds

Last night I went out to take pictures of a band called the Creeping Weeds for the paper. They seemed like nice people, albeit a little uncomfortable with having their picture taken. We were going to go out and try to shoot a nice shot somewhere in Chinatown, but it was real cold and they didn't want to get all bundled up. Instead they got stuck with the "rock band in front of a brick wall" treatment.

I think my flash is on the fritz. It didn't go off a bunch last night and I was getting furious.

Q-Mart

Today I had a man-date with Audrey's brother Keith. We went to the Quakertown Farmer's Market. I met this dude in the flea market barn. His name was Tom. He was selling Walt Disney memorabilia.
